What an undersink water chiller is
A compact chiller unit fits inside the sink cupboard and feeds a dedicated fountain tap, so chilled drinking water is there on demand — no waiting for the fridge dispenser, no bottles in the door. It chills up to 30 litres per hour, which is comfortable capacity for a family kitchen or a small office, and it runs quietly and efficiently in the background.
It combines with your existing filtration system or a new install — the chiller simply sits after the filter, so the water coming out of the fountain tap is both filtered and cold. An optional leak-cutoff device shuts off the mains automatically if anything goes wrong; it's recommended for commercial installs and often required by insurers.

Step 3 — Supply and fit
Chiller, tap and connections installed as one job — tidy pipework, everything leak-tested and commissioned before sign-off.
Step 4 — Aftercare
Filter changes when they're due — call when you need one, or have it handled automatically alongside an annual maintenance visit.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be added to my existing filter system?
Yes — chiller units connect with universal push-fit fittings, so they sit happily downstream of an undersink RO system or a standard drinking-water filter. If you don't have filtration yet, it can be installed as part of a new system in the same visit.
How much does it cost to install?
Every job is priced individually because it depends on your existing setup and pipework. Jordan does a free 20-minute on-site survey and follows up with a written quote — no obligation, no pressure.
Do I need a separate tap?
Yes — chilled water is delivered through its own dedicated fountain tap, fitted next to your main tap. It keeps the chilled supply separate from your standard hot and cold, and Jordan agrees the position and finish with you at the survey.
How noisy is it?
Quiet — the units are designed to live inside a kitchen cupboard, and in normal use the hum is comparable to a small fridge behind a closed door. You'll hear the compressor briefly when it tops the temperature up, then it's silent.
Is it suitable for commercial premises?
Yes — up to 30 litres per hour of chilled water suits small offices, cafés and waiting rooms. For commercial installs a leak-cutoff device is typically required by insurers, and Jordan specifies one as part of the quote.
What if there's a leak?
An optional automatic leak-detection valve cuts the mains supply to the unit if it detects a leak. It's recommended for any install, and usually a requirement for commercial premises — Jordan will advise at the survey.
