Boiling Tap Installation
Premium 4-way boiling taps installed across Cheshire and the Liverpool corridor. One tap replaces your kettle, filter jug, and instant-hot — instant 98°C boiling water, filtered cold, plus standard hot and cold from a single fixture. WRAS-approved, British-designed systems with full installation by Jordan Molyneux.
One tap. Four functions.
A 4-way boiling tap replaces your standard kitchen mixer with a single fixture that does four jobs: instant boiling water for tea, coffee and cooking; filtered cold drinking water; plus your normal hot and cold. The kettle goes in the cupboard, the filter jug goes in the recycling.
A compact tank under the sink keeps water at near-boiling, ready on demand, while a dedicated filter feeds the cold drinking side. British-designed, WRAS-approved, and supplied and installed as one job — no “buy it online and find a plumber”.
Why homeowners make the switch
No more kettle
Instant 98°C water on demand — tea, coffee and pan-filling without the wait, and your worktop space back.
Filtered drinking water built in
The cold drinking side runs through its own dedicated filter — better-tasting water from the same tap, no separate jug or bottles.
Child-safe by design
The boiling side is child-safety locked as standard — a deliberate action is needed to run boiling water, so it can't be turned on by accident.
One tidy installation
Tap, tank and filter supplied, installed, commissioned and demonstrated by the same person you spoke to on the phone.
How the install works
Step 1 — Free on-site survey
Jordan checks the under-sink space, water pressure and tap-hole options, and agrees the finish and position with you. Twenty minutes, no obligation, quote in writing.
Step 2 — Supply and fit
The tap, tank and filter arrive and are installed as one job — tidy pipework, everything leak-tested.
Step 3 — Commissioning and demo
Temperature set, filter flushed, and the child-safety lock demonstrated so everyone in the house knows how it works before Jordan leaves.
Step 4 — Aftercare
Filter changes when they're due — call when you need one, or have it handled automatically alongside an annual maintenance visit.
Safety, as standard
Boiling water on demand is safe when it's installed properly. The taps H2Optimum fits are WRAS-approved and child-safety locked as standard — the boiling function needs a deliberate action to operate, so it can't be switched on by accident. Every install is leak-tested and commissioned before sign-off, and you'll be shown exactly how the safety lock works before Jordan leaves.
Frequently asked questions
What is a 4-way boiling tap?
One tap with four functions: instant boiling water, filtered cold drinking water, and your standard hot and cold. It replaces the kettle, the filter jug and your existing mixer in a single fixture.
Is the water actually boiling?
It's stored at near-boiling — around 98°C — and dispensed instantly, which is right for tea, coffee, blanching and pan-filling. A kettle reaches 100°C, but makes you wait for it every time.
Is it safe with children in the house?
Yes — the boiling side is child-safety locked as standard and needs a deliberate action to operate. Jordan demonstrates the lock at commissioning so everyone in the house knows how it works.
Which brand of tap do you fit?
H2Optimum supplies a British-designed, WRAS-approved 4-way system chosen for reliability and serviceability. Jordan walks you through the exact specification, finishes and options at the free survey.
What's involved in the installation?
After the survey, the tap, under-sink tank and filter are supplied and fitted as one job — typically in a single visit, confirmed at the survey. Everything is leak-tested and commissioned before sign-off.
Does it need servicing?
The drinking-water filter needs changing when due — you can call when it's time, or have it handled automatically alongside an annual maintenance visit for your other filtration.
